
The Origins and Principles of the American Revolution
Gentz was a conservative German who supported the American Revolution but strongly opposed the French. This work was originally published in a journal Gentz edited in May and June 1800 and was translated by John Quincy Adams. Liberty Fund’s edition includes an introduction and explanatory notes by Peter Koslowski.
