Selected Essays on Political Economy (FEE ed.)

The Foundation for Economic Education translation of some of Bastiat’s most famous pamphlets, written as part of his opposition to the growth of socialism in France in the 1840s. The volume contains “What is Seen and What is Not Seen”, “The Law”, and “The State”. Several of these essays are available in a new translation by Liberty Fund. See What is Seen and What is Not Seen, The Law, The State, and also the Summary of the Bastiat Project for more information.
