Titles by Gr-n-da Proprietor

A thinly veiled reference to the island of Grenada. Such spellings were often used to add a further level of deniability against possible legal prosecution.

Bio

Like many others, such as “Grenada Planter,” this pseudonymous author sought to convey first hand knowledge of the Caribbean island plantations and their institutions. Whether this is the same or a different author from Grenada is not known.
