Christopher Tiedeman (1857-1903) was a conservative American legal scholar who was part of the group known as the “laisser-faire constitutionalists” who defended a natural rights “hands off” approach to interpreting the American constitution. He was Dean of the University of Buffalo Law School 1902-03.
