The Merry Wives of Windsor (facs. 1st Folio 1623)
Theatrical tradition (probably spurious) has it that Shakespeare wrote Merry Wives of Windsor in response to Queen Elizabeth’s demand to see a play with Falstaff in love. This is a facsimile edition of the play from the First Folio edition of 1623.
