Bio

De Courcy was strongly influenced by George Whitefield and had a reputation for being a powerful preacher in his own right. He was a firm defender of salvation by grace alone. In 1774, he was appointed Vicar of St. Alkmond’s in Shrewsbury, a position he held until his passing.
