The following screen snapshots show the basic elements of of the editing language which is used to format the text which you enter into the "Description" box. This markup language is wittily called "Markdown." More details can be found at the Markdown website.
My cheat sheet for the cheatsheet is as follows for the barest of bones formatting of the text:

Otherwise, for lists (numbered or bullet) and links, use the icons at the top of the "Description" box.
