Part of: The Parallel Bible. Old and New Testaments (KJV and Revised Version) The Gospel According to S. Mark (KJV)

The second Gospel in the New Testament. The Gospel According to Mark is generally accepted as the earliest of the four accounts of the life of Jesus contained in the Christian New Testament. It was written at the end of the first generation of Christians, between 62-70 CE. Both the Gospels of Matthew and Luke mined the Gospel of Mark for primary material–of Mark’s 637 verses only 24 verses were not used by Matthew or Luke.
