About the Author

W.C. Taylor (1800-1849) was an Irish author and supporter of the Anti-Corn Law League. He wrote prolifically on Irish history, on the British factory system, and was editor of the Anti-Corn Law League’s journal. He also edited Beaumont’s book on Ireland.
