Worthington Ford (1868-1941) was an American historian and an important early editor of collections of the writings of several Founding Fathers. He worked as the chief of the Bureau of Statistics for the U.S. Department of State (1885–1889), chief of the Manuscripts Division at the Library of Congress (1902-1908), and was appointed President of the American Historical Association in 1917..
