Joseph Hiam Levy (1838-1913) was an English civil servant and a lecturer in economics at Birkbeck College, London. For many years he was the Honorary Secretary and Treasurer of the radical individualist “Personal Rights Association” (founded 1871) the object of which was “to uphold the principle of the perfect equality of all persons before the law in the exercise and enjoyment of their Individual Liberty within the widest practicable limits.”
