About the Author

One of the authors in the volume of anti-socialist essays edited by Thomas Mackay and published by the Liberty and Property Defence League. He was a leading French free market economist, a secretary of the Société d’Études Économiques, a frequent contributor to the Journal des Économistes, and an expert on Russian trade and finances.
