Authors are organized into "Groups" and titles are organized into "Collections," both of which can be found in The Library/Groups & Collections. The aim is to show the interconnections and relationships which exist between authors, the books they wrote, and the ideas they advocated.

Groups of authors include:

• schools of thought - such as the Austrian School of Economic Thought
• historical period - all historical periods are listed here, John Locke can be found in the Early Modern Period.
  
• nationality - John Locke was English

On every author bio page is listed the Groups to which that author belongs, e.g. John Locke is a member of several groups. He was

• of English nationality
• an author listed in the Goodrich Semiinar Room at Wabash College
  
• an author who lived in the Early Modern Period
• a member of the group of Pre-Smithian Economists
• a member of the group of 17tC natural rights theorists
• an author commonly read by the American Founding Fathers

An author's membership of a group makes it possible to explore the many interconnections which exist between that author and others who were writing at the same time and the influence they have had on later generations of writers and thinkers.
