While putting Tocqueville's "Recollections" online I found this lovely "photogravure" picture of him </index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1615&Itemid=263> which I compare to a contemporary picture of Bastiat, both of whom served in the Chamber of Deputies during the 1848 Revolution.
