February 2010: the 5th edition of the PLL data DVD is released. It is also Liberty Fund's 50th Anniversary edition and contains 1,002 full-text titles and the complete collection of the Quotes of the Week (now called "Reflections on Liberty and Power").
January 2010: The front page of the OLL is redesigned for Liberty Fund's 50th Anniversary year in 2010.
October 2009: Reading Lists are now printable as anthologies.
October 2009: Quotes of the Week are consolidated into one database and made searchable by topic and date.
October 2009: the 1,200th title was added to the Library - Taxation and Anarchism: A Discussion between the Hon. Auberon Herbert and J.H. Levy (1912)
June 2009: 800th item added to the Forum.
March 2009: the OLL is 5 years old
January 2009: 4th edition of the Portable Library of Liberty was published with 924 volumes and 36 hours of audio material.
December 2008: Audio Book Project launched.
October 2008: ePub Pilot Project launched.
October 2008: nearly 10,000 copies of the Portable Library of Liberty DVD have been distributed to date.
September 2008: 1,100th Library title added - Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England (1753).
August 2008: 700th Forum item added - Tocqueville's Critique of Socialism (1848).
February 2008: detailed User Guides for the Forum, Library, and User Created Reading List Tool were developed.
December 2007: the User Created Reading List tool was created.
November 2007: the OLL won its third award for excellence, this time from the International Political Science Association for having one of "the best 300 websites for online research in political science".
November 2007: Key Documents of Liberty created.
October 2007: we began putting online MARC records of our books.
October 2007: 1,000th Library title: Thornton's Enquiry into the Nature & Effects of the Paper Credit of Great Britain (1802).
July 2007: the fully redesigned OLL website went public.
February 2007: 500th Forum item added - John Rae on the publication of Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations (1895).
September 2006: prototype of the new OLL website is finished.

May 2006: the complete works of David Ricardo go online.
March 2006: The British Arts and Humanities Research Council has chosen the OLL as one of the "the best and most relevant resources ... for education and research" in the arts and the humanities and has given it an "Editor's Choice" Award.
December 2005: The OLL won a prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities "Best of the Humanities on the Web" award.
November 2005: the complete works of J.S. Mill go online.
September 2005: the 2nd edition of the Portable Library of Liberty appeared with over 500 titles and the Intellectual Portrait Series audios.
March 2005: version 1.5 of the OLL DTD is developed.
October 2004: the 1st edition of the Portable Library of Liberty appeared with 224 titles.
September 2004: the Intellectual Portrait audio series (27 hours of interviews) go online.
May 2004: the complete works of Adam Smith go online.
