Dear Sir

On my arrival at home I found your letter dated the 7th. in which you inform me of a piece of news of which I was not before aware, that my work was translated into French and that you were in possession of a copy. You will oblige me by procuring a copy for me, but should that be difficult, you will probably be good enough to let me look over yours.—

I find too a copy of the 2d. Edinburgh Magazine, and the last number of Blackwood’s here.2

In a few days I may probably trouble you with a note which I shall wish to be inserted at about the 375th. page.3 I will take care that you shall have it in time.

I am Dear Sir Faithfully Yours

David Ricardo
