  • When Priscus, rais'd from low to high estate,
  • Rode through the street in pompous jollity,
  • Caius, his poor familiar friend of late,
  • Bespake him thus, “Sir, now you know not me “
  • ” Tis likely, friend,” quoth Priscus, “to be so,
